RESUME

Yewon Jang is currently in her 5th study in the Architectural Engineering Program at the Pennsylvania State University. In May 2019, she will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor / Master of Architectural Engineering Degree with a focus in mechanical systems and Architecture Studies minor. During past winter break, she interned at Smithgroup JJR in Washington DC. Yewon is a member of a number of professional and student organizations including Central PA chapter of the ASHRAE and Central PA chapter of Korean-American Scientist Engineer Association (KSEA). Yewon has passed the FE exam and will gain EIT status after her graduation. 

Upon graduation, Yewon is looking forward to begin working as a mechanical design engineer for a consulting or AE firm to gain knowledge and practical experience in the field. 

Outside of academics, Yewon is involved in university activities such as working as a desk clerk at the commons desk at residence halls since 2017. She enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures, and listening to music.
